What is the purpose of counselling?

Counselling opens up a space in your life where you can be supported to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, develop new insights and self-acceptance. It can support you to move away from feeling stuck, towards making the changes that you seek.

Counselling can help you overcome the difficulties that have held you back, often affecting both your emotional and physical health and provide you with the insights and tools to live your life with joy, peace, and purpose.

I offer an initial 20-minute phone consultation free of charge

This is an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have. You may tell me a little about yourself and the issues you are struggling with and we can discuss how I might be able to help.

"We may not be responsible for the way the world creates our mind, but we can learn to take responsibility for the mind with which we create our world"

- Dr Gabor Maté

There are times in our lives when things feel too overwhelming to cope with on our own. Therapy can provide support, clarity, and guidance during difficult times, allowing  to make profound and lasting changes.

It might be daunting to start seeing a new therapist, especially if this is your first time in therapy. However, therapy may quickly turn into a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and inspired.

I offer both short and long-term counselling.

Therapy sessions are usually held weekly face to face, online or via telephone.

I believe in working collaboratively with you,  you are the expert of your own life and perhaps what you need is someone to help you connect to your inner resources. By listening and helping you to get in touch with your emotions, we can discover the root causes of your struggles and develop strategies to live a more fulfilling life.

Online and Telephone Counselling

Recognising that modern life can be fast-paced and geographically diverse, I offer online and telephone counselling. Remote sessions bring the benefits of therapy right to your doorstep, allowing you to access support from the comfort of your own space. Online and telephone counselling ensures flexibility and confidentiality while still offering the same quality of care you would receive in person.

Creative counselling

I offer creative counselling for online and face to faceclients who enjoy self-exploration through a variety of creative methods such as drawing, painting, clay, images, collages, photography, object or words. During talk therapy, you may feel drawn to go beyond words and connect creatively with more complex inner world.
