Trauma-informed therapy to soothe anxiety, release burnout, rebuild your self-worth, and step out of survival mode.
I offer in-person counselling in Bexhill and online across the UK & EU.
You might be here because you:
Find it difficult to switch off your mind or relax without feeling guilty.
Feel constantly tired, even when you rest
Experience anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or find yourself becoming increasingly overwhelemed
Hold yourself to impossibly high standards and rarely feel like you're doing enough
Put other people's needs before your own, leaving little time or energy for yourself
Notice recurring patterns in relationships that leave you feeling unseen, unfulfilled or emotionally drained
Struggle with self-worth or carry a persistent inner critic
Feel disconnected from yourself, your creativity, or the things that once brought you joy
Feel like you're surviving rather than truly living, and want life to feel more manageable, meaningful and fulfilling
Are autistic, ADHD or AuDHD (whether formally diagnosed or self-identified) and are trying to better understand your needs, energy, identity and boundaries in a world that often feels overwhelming or asks you to mask who you are.
If you recognise yourself in some of these experiences, I'd love to hear from you.
Who I work with
I offer counselling and trauma-informed therapy for adults (18+) who feel exhausted, anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves. Many of the people I work with have spent years holding everything together. They're responsible, thoughtful and often the person everyone else relies on, yet beneath the surface they're struggling with anxiety, burnout, low self-esteem, perfectionism, people-pleasing or the lasting impact of relational trauma.
I offer a grounded, inclusive and emotionally safe space where you don't need to pretend you're okay or arrive with everything neatly figured out. We begin exactly where you are, with the messy bits, the parts that feel ashamed, stuck or sceptial about whether therapy will help. Therapy with me is collaborative, relational and deeply human rather than clinical or distant.
My approach is trauma-informed, neuro-affirmative and rooted in the belief that healing happens through understanding, connection and a safe therapeutic relationship.
Drawing from attachment theory, IFS, psychodynamic therapy, nervous system awareness, somatic and creative approaches where helpful, we'll explore not only what's happening now, but also the experiences that have shaped how you relate to yourself and others.
I’m deeply interested in people’s stories and in gently noticing the patterns that sometimes hold us back. I’ll encourage you to be kinder to yourself and to soften those harsh internal voices, while also compassionately challenging unhelpful beliefs you may carry.
I bring warmth, depth, creativity, and often humour (when appropriate) into our sessions. I care deeply about this work and continue to feel inspired by the courage it takes to look inward.
Thank you for being here. If something in these words resonates, I’d warmly welcome you to reach out.
Life may not look the way you imagined
You might find yourself feeling unworthy, stuck, and drained, questioning your identity and whether you can create a life that feels better.
Life’s challenges might make you feel like you’ve failed, leaving you wondering why you keep pushing forward.
Deep down, you long for joy, peace, and connection - yet fears and insecurities keep creeping in, convincing you that it’s out of reach.
Perhaps you’ve learnt to run from the pain or hide it away, hoping that one day it will fade. You might find yourself caught in cycles of self-blame, isolation, or exhaustion.
I hear you. I see you. I am here to help.
How Therapy Can Help
Together, we can work towards helping you:
Understand the roots of anxiety, burnout, self-criticism and relational patterns that no longer serve you.
Feel less overwhelmed and more able to navigate life's challenges with confidence.
Understand your nervous system responses and develop compassionate ways of regulating them.
Quieten your inner critic and cultivate greater self-compassion.
Build healthier boundaries and trust yourself more fully.
Feel safe enough to rest, experience your emotions and prioritise your own needs without guilt.
Develop more balanced, meaningful and fulfilling relationships.
Reconnect with yourself, your values and the parts of life that bring you joy.
Move from surviving to living a life that feels more connected, authentic and fulfilling.

You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come because they're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns they can't seem to change. Others simply have a sense that something isn't quite right, even if they can't explain why.
You might notice you're constantly overthinking, struggling to switch off, putting everyone else's needs before your own, or feeling disconnected from yourself. Perhaps you're navigating a difficult life transition, relationship challenges, grief, burnout, or the impact of past experiences.
Therapy isn't only about treating problems, it's also a space to better understand yourself, explore your emotions, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
Together, we can explore what's bringing you here and whether therapy feels like the right fit for you.
-
Getting started is simple. You can book a free 15-minute Zoom or phone consultation - please use Contact form.
This gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss what's bringing you to therapy, ask any questions you may have, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
If you decide to go ahead, we'll arrange your first session at a time that works for you. Before we meet, I'll send you some information about the counselling agreement, privacy policy, and everything you need to know so you can arrive feeling prepared.
-
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I'll ask some questions about what's brought you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and any important experiences that may help me understand your story. There's no pressure to share everything at once, we'll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
It's also your chance to ask questions and get a sense of what it feels like to work together. Finding the right therapist is important, and it's okay to take time to decide whether I'm the right fit for you.
By the end of the session, we'll have a clearer understanding of what you'd like support with and whether we'd like to continue working together. My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a better sense of what therapy with me might look like.
